Digitization of local culture documents in the Kuldiga Main Library

Digitization of various types of local history documents is an essential part of daily work for a large part of public libraries in Latvia, including the Kuldiga Main Library.

Work processes:

1. selection of materials for digitization;
2. preparation for digitization;
3. scanning and processing of scanned materials;
4. preservation of digitized objects;
5. entry of digitized objects into BIS "ALISE" and the Digital Objects Management System (DOM).
